Maria Alm is a Swedish artist, physical engineer and MBA, was born in Are in the middle of the Swedish mountains in 1974 where she lived all her childhood. Her father worked as a teacher of photography, media and communication, and her mother, a handicraft teacher, now retired, they were her great supporters and supported her in her involvement with art, since her close relatives were artists, among them composers, musicians and artists. She studied physical engineering and MBA, the focus that directed her to a seemingly distant area of art, brought her the reunion with her voice and mission, because creativity by her is seen as a differentiating force in any challenge, creating an inspiring background for her art, for all her experiences already lived, making her see the world in a unique way. Inspiring each person to believe in her own dreams, touching people, is a mission for Maria Alm, to make sure that everyone deserves happiness and love.

Maria Alm's creative process is inspired by emotions and the inner strength we all possess. There are also moments when she is inspired by several artists, whether they are consecrated or rising, in books, in stories, in the multicultural views seen in Brazil, for example, everything that provokes a feeling or thought. These reflections and references are subconsciously translated to the screen, whether in symbols, in color or even in themes.
Her creations are self-affirmations of love, trust, courage, gratitude, sense of belonging, courage, and freedom to be who each of us is. From power or even responsibility, we have to make the world a better place. Maria Alm was present at several exhibitions in São Paulo and Salvador. In São Paulo presented her first solo exhibition with the theme "Life", Church Scandinavian.
