Carlos Madeira began the taste for art already in his childhood. The difficulties made him develop methods that led him to be aware in the experiment with colors, lights and shadows. An incessant quest to learn and discover alone made him take a liking for the realistic style. Thus, the first portraits appeared.
The art became a joke, that amidst spatulas, brushes and vibrant colors was letting the faithful traces define him.
Portraying country men, their customs, work and simple experience show the artist who, born in a small town, how big he is.
Carlos Madeira is a Brazilian plastic artist, born in 1974, in the city of Bom Despacho.
