Aimée Resende is a Brazilian artist and architect, born in August 1989 in Natal / Rio Grande do Norte, her father Emerson Nunes Resende is a plastic artist and mechanical engineer, in which the artist had great influence and her mother Maria Antônia Freitas a provided great stimuli for the development of his work. Aimée woke up to art in her childhood at 4 years old and her artistic resourcefulness came through her grandmother Marly who was a fine artist and accompanied her for years in painting courses.
From the influence of her grandfather's stories, as well as admirer of the symbolist group and its poetry, the artist brings much in her paintings regional elements that reflect the Moorish influence.
"Eternal repetition of forms leads me so many ways, comes from the unconscious and the mood, a "pitch" moment, is where creativity comes, with no time to come and go, have to enjoy the moment."
In her creative process, the artist transposes the concepts learned at the university, whether through perception and form, softening her features and making them unique, whether in her form of drawing, or in the mixture of ink and watercolor. Diving in the poems of Charles-Pierre Baudelaire and Vladimir Vladimirovich Maiakovski, he elaborated characters from the kingdom of maní, being: Maní, Silo, Ecsaivier and Dahlia and with the characters created the playful landscapes and scenes.
"Art is an elementary medium that only adds to people's lives."
